About the TubaNews.com Music Library

The primary purpose of this Recording Database at TubaNews.com is to provide tuba and euphonium players with a current, comprehensive listing of recordings for our instruments. In time it should develop into a place where musicians can turn to search for recordings of specific pieces from our repertoire. With the help of the TubaNews.com community, this database will be the definitive listing of album and track information pertinent to musicians in our field.

Additionally, this database will serve as a great way for artists to promote their new recordings. It will also be an excellent resource for young players developing their listening skills and knowledge of repertoire.

How To Add a CD to the Database

We personally own all albums in the TubaNews.com Music Library. Track information is taken directly from the CD's themselves using advanced music organization software and then uploaded to our database. We hope artists who would like to add a recording to the database will consider sending us at least one copy of the CD. In addition to processing this information for our database, there are other ways we can use these CD's to promote artists and albums! Submissions of new albums can be passed on to members of our staff for featured reviews in upcoming issues of TubaNews.com. Also, please consider sending us multiple copies of your CD as they can be included as prizes in upcoming contests and giveaways on TubaNews.com. Both these options are great ways to generate interest in your album and spread the word of your work to the international tuba community!

We are rapidly adding albums to this database right now. If, however, you know of an album that is missing and should be included, please use the "Send Feedback" form to contact us.
